Journeys ... A Memory

I continued my way following the foot prints on the sand ...

A puff of air just went passing by,
I closed my eyes in an act to protect my vision;

It was in a few seconds I realized;
I missed the opportunity to watch the wind sketching scenic curves on the sand...

Though bitter sun rays sprayed whole heartedly upon me,
The not so pleasant weather dried up my throat;
And no trespasser to help me find the direction;

I felt the desert more beautiful whose silence was in conversation with me;

A place where one could feel,the meaning of water to life.

I could no longer find any foot prints;
the sand as if asking me to stay back ...

So inhospitable the situation yet many things to be learned ...

I was welcomed by the brown leaves, gently making their road to the soil.
The noisy wind that made the weightless branches swing;

The sun rays effortlessly touched the earth through the woods;
the woods , who stood weaponless to battle the sun;

And the sunshine adding golden effects to the atmosphere;

It felt as if everyone contributing to decorate the season ...

I heard a call as I left;
the surroundings promising me a more scenic sight next time.

That's beauty which lies in the eyes of the bystander ...

Perhaps, it's this inner flavour that make Journeys ; an Album ... May be ...

Just wrking on ur notes ... to write some jovial stuff ... Sir :)

well ... the theme of the post was to express the feel ; how one feels when he visits various places.
The way ; each individual would go about appreciating a thing

And the desire ppl hav to visit a place ; second time.

If I hav said toooooo much .. I apologize ..

Not sure how much I made out of the above said things ... bt I had these things in mind while setting the theme ....

Chow,
Abhi.

From what I have read it is the expression of one place namely "The Desert" attracts me more.

The route from desert to the oasis (I'm guessing here) was very instant. It could have been a smooth transition.

The oasis is also well described from an angle afar. "Journeys" okie but why "Album"?

Liked the part "Wind embracing the sand"

"Many things to be learned" - if some things are explained that would have cleared some blank spaces of the reader. (Just a thought).

The sun rays touching the ground was well written. Also the battle of the woods.

"everyone contributing to decorate"
but we human are trying to pollute it always. (Remember the Chewing gum)
